Early this morning, police responded to a call regarding an alarming accident involving a TTC bus crash into two homes in Scarborough.
The bus crashed into homes on Oasis Boulevard, damaging the houses to the point of temporary evacuation. Luckily, no customers were on board at the time of the crash, and families within the homes were unharmed but startled.

At this time, it is unclear how the bus driver lost control of the vehicle, but witnesses state that the driver appeared to be visibly shaken and confused by the accident. She has since been taken to the hospital as precaution.
Photographs of the accident show the extent of the damage, with one garage completely caved in, with the other’s balcony collapsing.
Currently, Toronto Police, Traffic Services and the TTC are investigating the accident and engineers are expected to arrive at the homes for inspection later this morning.
“This matter is under investigation by Toronto police and the TTC. Next steps will be determined once the facts behind this incident are known,” said TTC’s Stuart Green. “We’re thankful no one was injured.”
