FANTASTIC BEACHES IN LAMBTON COUNTY
There’s so much to see and do in Lambton County, but many visitors know us best for our world famous freshwater beaches. Lake Huron is the world’s fifth-largest lake, and its shoreline from Point Edward and Sarnia all the way to Grand Bend is full of continuous wide, sandy beaches, warm blue waters and sandy bottoms.
Sun worshippers are beckoned from far and wide to the resort town of Grand Bend. Main Street is fun to stroll, and is replete with little boutiques, ice cream shops, and restaurants.
Eight kilometers south of Grand Bend is Pinery Provincial Park, with its own 10 km expanse of broad, sandy beach and towering dunes. National Geographic ranked the sunsets off this beach to be the second best in the world.
Both Grand Bend’s main beach and Sarnia’s Canatara Park beach have Blue Flag status — your guarantee of water purity, safety, and the finest environmental standards.
