A REVOLUTIONARY APPROACH
You won’t find traditional majors or lecture halls here. You’ll design your own major by asking a personalized Question, and you’ll cap your education with a Keystone Project. Our unique undergraduate Arts & Sciences degree encourages critical thinking and broad learning while letting you delve deep into the issues you’re passionate about. You won’t sit through five classes at once. The Block Plan means you’ll spend 3.5 weeks immersed in a single subject, led by one of our dedicated instructors, who know how to make learning interactive, rigorous and fun.
A CHANCE TO GO BEYOND
Our Field Courses and Experiential Learning Blocks (such as our recent trip to Antarctica) offer a chance to turn the world into a classroom. From the politics of health in South Africa to environmental conflict in Clayoquot Sound, you can engage with topics in a way that doesn’t happen elsewhere. Whether you choose to study abroad or pursue internships, research or activism, our programs will take you on a non-linear journey from student to self-directed learner. You’ll develop essential transferable skills and gain a confidence that will serve you well beyond your degree.
A SPECTACULAR SETTING
Living on campus in Squamish, you’ll enjoy the beauty of British Columbia, where mountains rise high above scenic Howe Sound. Built to honour nature, Quest offers breathtaking views, trails and a serene setting perched above town. Just down the hill you’ll find bustling cafes, restaurants, breweries and locally owned shops. An hour north, world-class skiing awaits you in Whistler. Or explore Vancouver, ranked one of the world’s best cities, by heading 60 km south on the stunning Sea-to-Sky highway.
