At the 34th Annual Carassauga Festival of Cultures
Join us from May 24th – 26th in Mississauga for the Carassauga Festival of Cultures, Canada’s Largest Multicultural Festival aimed at promoting, understanding, respect, and co-operation among Canadians of different backgrounds and cultures.
This year, Carassauga organizers are excited to introduce their Grand Opening Ceremony on Friday, May 24th showcasing a parade of nations, special cultural performances and headliner Platinum Blonde. Tickets sold on ticketmaster.ca. A FREE Carassauga passport for the weekend is included in the ticket purchase.
Hear the drumbeat from Africa. Taste the exotic flavours of India. Let the dancers from Ukraine sweep you off your feet. Cultural organizations around the city welcome you into 29 themed Pavilions
at 12 locations to enjoy the food, music, art, and entertainment. Experience the kaleidoscope of colour and culture for even longer with this year’s extended pavilion hours on May 25th 12:00pm – 12:00am and May 26th 12:00pm – 8:00pm.
Admission for Saturday and Sunday is FREE for kids 12 and under. Adults can purchase a Carassauga Passport at various locations or online at carassauga.com in advance for just $10 or $12 at the door. This passport entitles unlimited in-and-out privileges to all Pavilions during Festival hours, unlimited entertainment, as well as riding for FREE onthe MiWay. FREE parking is available at all Pavilion locations.
While sampling the flavours of the world, also visit our Kids Zone, a family fun area located in the Outdoor Tent Area open Saturday and Sunday only. Enjoy midway rides, arts and crafts, games as well as have your photo taken with our mascots, Carra and Missi.
