Stand by the water, close your eyes and listen. Is there a drum-like pulse in the sounds of the city? A single voice raising its melody to the stars? Or a noisy fury blaring out a cacophony of frustrations and dreams?
Featuring eight choirs, four soloists and a fusion of Indigenous music, Maada’ookii Songlines is a brand new massive choral event.
Whatever our backgrounds may be, Maada’ookii Songlines is a reminder that we all come from the stars.
