Summer in the #yyz is here in full force … and no matter what political party you support we can all agree that the humidity is horrible for your hair! But the sun is out, patio season is beyond amazing and it’s time to tan that booty — using SPF 30 of course! How lucky are we to be Canadian?! Time to reflect and appreciate all that Canada is and how brilliant it is that we celebrate DIVERSITY every single day! God Bless YOU Canada and Happy Birthday! What are your plans this summer? Being a tourist in Toronto is a blast! My Boyfriend is from out West and this will be his first summer here and I will be playing tour guide! We are doing it all … Casa Loma, CN Tower, Jays game, the waterfront, shopping in Yorkville, Muskoka weekends, the Distillery District, and we are going to see Marilyn Denis LIVE! I have been tuned into that Canadian icon for years and I have never gone to see her live! So if you see two gay boys screaming in the front row wearing floral prints, it’s us! If you are entertaining visitors from out of town this year go to citypass. com/Toronto and get them a discounted CITY PASS to see all the major attractions our city has to offer! Get outside and wiggle … Stay hydrated, have fun and most importantly get ONtheGO!
Happy Canada Day! Events are happening all over the city and remember Monday is a holiday! Pull out your red and white and celebrate everything Canadian! I will be celebrating at Dundas Square this year at the 12th Annual Multicultural Festival from 12pm–9pm! C A N A D A!
