Make a pit stop and refuel in Thunder Alley with food and drink samples. Check the schedule to get an autograph with your favorite driver. Settle in for live entertainment. Shop a number of vendors for the latest track wear and memorabilia or cool down at one of several beer gardens located throughout Exhibition Place.
More fun and excitement is found in the Honda Speed Zone, with fun activities for the family. Hold up a trophy and have your photo taken at the Honda Winner’s Circle. Children under five can participate in the Strider’s balance bike activity. Free cotton candy, snow cones, and popcorn are provided by Honda Canada. Grab your snack as you head to the track for some racing action.
Wrapped around the Honda Indy festival is Toronto’s 2.89-kilometre track, configured to host top level racing in North America. Saturday, July 13 features the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in the Pinty’s Grand Prix of Toronto. Sunday, July 14 will showcase the NTT IndyCar Series. Canadian James Hinchcliffe will continue his quest to match Paul Tracy’s two IndyCar wins on the streets of Toronto. The competition doesn’t get any hotter!
Get a peek at the upcoming racing talent on the Road to Indy series. This development series hosts drivers from around the world looking to make it to the top levels of professional racing in North America. The Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada also heats up the streets proving the passion and performance of this classic marquee.
Did someone say free? A race car may cost a small fortune, but the Honda Indy Toronto experience doesn’t. Friday, July 12, known as Honda Fan Friday, offers general admission courtesy of the Ontario Honda Dealers Association by making a voluntary donation to Make-A-Wish® Canada — every dollar donated is matched by Honda Canada.
Saturday and Sunday children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Rev-up the excitement by enrolling 5–12 year olds in the Honda Indy Toronto Rookie Racers program to get exclusive access and unique experiences for motorsports future fans.
Truly fun for the whole family, access to the Honda Indy Toronto via transit can be made by bus, streetcar or GO Train (Exhibition Station). Parking is available on and off-site. With so much to see don’t miss your favorite races!
