With pop-up stores taking over the retail world, why not go even bigger – pop up markets!
After years of sitting empty, the corner of Bathurst and Front Street is finally getting a temporary makeover as a pop-up market. Stackt Container Market is currently being developed and will live up to its name with its design of an arrangement of stacked shipping containers. While an official opening date hasn’t been announced yet, we do know they will be opening their doors this April.
Stackt Market will be home to over 30 businesses, situated within 120 shipping containers that will be transformed into this unique shopping and dining venue. Vendors are slowly starting to be revealed and Stackt made an exciting announcement earlier this week with the first line-up of stores, bars and restaurants that will be temporary residents within the market.
* Bean and Pearl (Coffee, bubble tea and food) * Belgian Moon (Beer) * BMO Canada (Banking) * Carmel Floral (Florists) * Donut Monster (Donuts) * Dresden Vision Canada (Sustainable eyewear) * Ellie Mae Studios (Women’s clothing) * Flow (Alkaline spring water) * Ink Box (Temporary tattoos) * RichFace (Personally prescribed face treatments) * Reunion Island Coffee Roasters (Sustainable coffee) * Startup Here Toronto (Community hub) * YamChops (Plant-based butcher and market)
We are excited to see these vendors take over this space and see what exciting adventures they have to offer Torontonians! Follow along with the progress and keep an eye out for the official opening date by visiting http://stacktmarket.com/ or @Stacktmarket on Instagram.
